Interfaith Peace-Builders fosters a network of informed and active individuals who understand the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the United States’ political, military, and economic role in it. To build and nurture such a network, we lead diverse delegations to Israel/Palestine. Click here for more information on our upcoming Eyewitness Palestine delegations:
Upcoming Eyewitness Palestine Delegations
IFPB’s two complementary programs, the Eyewitness Palestine Delegation Program and the Education and Advocacy Program, ensure that the US based movement for Israeli-Palestinian peace is rooted in the activism and life-stories of those that live the conflict everyday:
The Delegation Program organizes delegations of people from diverse backgrounds on two-week trips to Israel/Palestine. Delegations emphasize the grassroots voices of Israelis and Palestinians immersed in the reality of the conflict.
Participants on IFPB delegations bear witness to the everyday violence of war and occupation and learn from those committed to nonviolent struggle, human rights and peace with justice. IFPB delegations present alternative images and analyses which reach deeper to uncover the roots of Israeli-Palestinian conflict and avenues pointing the way to change and reconciliation.
The Education and Advocacy Program focuses on movement building and civic engagement by empowering delegation participants to become forces for change in their own communities. Participants on IFPB delegations know that their on-the-ground experience is only the beginning. The Education and Advocacy Program emphasizes continued engagement, activist skills training, and empowerment to ensure that the delegation experience becomes a transformational event and a building block in the larger movement for Israeli-Palestinian peace and a just application of US policy in the region.
Interfaith Peace-Builders is much more than a delegation program. Our comprehensive vision aims for a new reality and a new framework for US policy in Israel and Palestine. Please explore our new site to learn more about our work, our impact, and the people we have met along the way!
