If you are flying to DC, be aware that National Airport (DCA) is significantly more convenient via public transportation than either Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI). Both Dulles and Baltimore airports do have public transportation options, but they are on the outskirts of the DC metropolitan area and require more travel time to and from flights.
