Work on your "elevator pitch" -- a one-minute description of IFPB's work and its importance to you. You can talk to friends, family, work contacts, the person next to you on the bus, etc....Even if you don't think they will go in the near future, they may talk to someone who will go on the next delegation. And generally conversations like these will lead to more networking and more opportunities.
IFPB has a presence on Facebook, Change.org, and several other social networking sites. Invite your friends and contacts to check out our Facebook page and become fans. If you have your own blog, add IFPB to your list of links. Click on the links below for our pages on Facebook, Change.org, YouTube, and Flickr.

Target local colleges and universities to encourage young people to go on a delegation. The July 2010 delegation had 60% of our participants younger than 30. We can continue to recruit and send youth if we make an effort.
